InduQT AI Transparency
Kamna Ventures, LLC d/b/a InduQT · Last updated October 25, 2026
InduQT uses artificial intelligence to help maintenance teams troubleshoot equipment. This page explains what the AI does, what it does not do, how people stay in control, and how we approach the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689).
What the AI does
- Recognises equipment and alarm screens in photos you upload.
- Reads manuals and documents you provide or that are in our equipment library.
- Analyses data exports and trends you provide.
- Suggests likely causes, ranked, with the evidence and sources behind them, and the next check that would tell them apart.
- Answers questions in the AI Copilot.
What it does not do
- It does not control, start, stop, reset or change any equipment, and it is not a safety component of any machine.
- It does not replace flame safeguards, limits, interlocks or other protective devices, and will not advise bypassing them.
- It does not make decisions about people, and is not used to monitor, evaluate or profile workers.
You are always told when AI is involved
Diagnoses and Copilot answers are labelled as AI-generated, and show their sources and confidence so they can be checked.
Human oversight
Every output is advice to a person. A qualified technician or engineer decides what to inspect, repair or change, following the manufacturer’s documentation and site procedures. You can report a wrong answer from any diagnosis, and we review those reports.
Models we use
InduQT IQ (cloud) uses general-purpose AI models from established providers, accessed through a routing service. Providers may not train on your content. We use uploads and corrections, de-identified, to improve our own models and equipment knowledge unless you opt out (see the Privacy Policy, Section 6A). InduQT IQ Enterprise can run with models hosted inside the customer’s own infrastructure, so data does not leave the site.
Known limitations
- Outputs can be wrong or incomplete, especially when the model, configuration or alarm history is unknown.
- The same fault code can mean different things on different models and firmware versions.
- Photo quality, missing data and out-of-date documents reduce accuracy.
Our approach to the EU AI Act
Our assessment is that InduQT, used as intended, is not a prohibited AI practice and is not a high-risk AI system: it is a troubleshooting aid, it is not intended to be a safety component of machinery or other regulated products, and it is not used in the areas listed in Annex III. We keep this assessment under review as the product and official guidance develop.
We meet the transparency obligations for AI systems that interact with people and generate content by telling users they are working with AI and labelling AI-generated output. We train our staff on AI use (AI literacy), and we document the models we rely on and their limitations.
Customers who integrate InduQT into control or safety systems, or use it for decisions about workers, change its intended purpose and must assess their own obligations. Contact us before doing so.
