InduQT Privacy Policy
Kamna Ventures, LLC d/b/a InduQT · Last updated October 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Kamna Ventures, LLC, doing business as InduQT ("InduQT", "we", "us"), collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use induqt.ai, the InduQT IQ application, our free diagnostic tools and related services (the "Services").
1. Who we are
Kamna Ventures, LLC (d/b/a InduQT) is the controller of personal data processed through the Services. Address: 6701 Koll Center Pkwy, Suite 250, Pleasanton, CA 94566. Contact: privacy@induqt.ai.
InduQT IQ Enterprise is installed in a customer’s own facility or infrastructure. For Enterprise installations the customer controls the data and this Policy applies only to information the customer shares with us directly, for example in support requests.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, company, role, and login information.
- Machine content you submit: photos of equipment and alarm screens, manuals and documents, data exports (CSV, Excel), descriptions, questions to the AI Copilot, and the diagnoses and notes produced ("Customer Content").
- Billing data (paid plans): billing contact, address, tax identifiers and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment processor and not stored by us.
- Support communications you send us.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, pages and features used, and timestamps, collected through server logs and essential cookies, and through Google Analytics if you accept analytics cookies (Section 10).
3. Photos and personal data in uploads
Equipment photos can accidentally include people, badges, screens or documents. Please crop them out before uploading. Do not upload personal data about other people unless it is necessary and you have the right to do so. We do not use the Services to identify or monitor individuals.
4. How we use information and our legal bases
- To provide the Services, including processing Customer Content to produce diagnoses (performance of a contract).
- To create and secure accounts, prevent abuse and keep the Services reliable (legitimate interests).
- To process payments and meet tax and accounting obligations (contract; legal obligation).
- To respond to support requests (contract; legitimate interests).
- To improve the Services using aggregated usage statistics (legitimate interests).
- To develop, train, evaluate and improve our AI models, diagnostic rules and equipment knowledge, and to create de-identified and aggregated datasets, benchmarks and evaluation sets from Customer Content, diagnoses and your corrections of them, which we may license to third parties, including AI developers (legitimate interests). See Section 6A for what is removed and how to opt out.
- To send service and security notices, and marketing only where you have consented or where the law allows and you can opt out.
5. AI processing
Diagnoses and Copilot answers are generated with AI models. To produce them we send the relevant parts of your request and Customer Content to AI model providers acting as our processors. They may not use your content to train their own models. Our own use of Customer Content for model development and de-identified datasets is described in Sections 4 and 6A. See our AI Transparency page for how the AI is used and supervised.
6. Sharing (no sale of personal data)
We do not sell or share personal data for cross-context advertising. We share information only with:
- Service providers that host and operate the Services for us (see Appendix A), under contracts that limit their use of the data.
- Licensees of de-identified datasets (see Section 6A). These datasets do not contain personal data or information that identifies you, your organisation or your sites.
- Professional advisers, and authorities where required by law or to protect rights, safety and security.
- A successor in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with equivalent protections.
6A. De-identified datasets and your opt-out
Before Customer Content is used in a dataset that leaves InduQT, we remove or obscure information that identifies people, organisations or sites, including: people and faces in photos, names, contact details and signatures, company, plant and site names and addresses, customer-specific asset tags and serial numbers, and network addresses. Equipment make, model, alarm and fault information and operating data are kept, because that is what makes the data useful for diagnosis.
We do not attempt to re-identify de-identified data, and we require licensees not to attempt it.
You can opt out at any time. Organisations can opt out their whole workspace by emailing support@induqt.ai from an administrator address; individual users and free-tool users can opt out by emailing the same address. After an opt-out takes effect we stop using your Customer Content for model development and new datasets. Datasets and models already created before the opt-out are not recalled.
Customer Content from InduQT IQ Enterprise installations stays in the customer’s infrastructure and is not used for these purposes unless the customer sends it to us and agrees in writing.
7. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in the US and other countries. Where personal data from the EEA, UK or Switzerland is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
8. Retention
- Account data: while the account is active, and for a limited period after closure.
- Customer Content: until you delete it or your account ends, subject to short backup cycles.
- Free-tool submissions without an account: deleted after 30 days unless saved to an account.
- De-identified data and datasets derived from Customer Content (Section 6A) may be kept after the original content is deleted, because they no longer identify you.
- Logs and security records: for a limited period for security and reliability.
9. Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, and monitoring designed to protect information. No system is completely secure; please use strong credentials and appropriate permissions.
10. Cookies and analytics
The website uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work and for sign-in. We do not use advertising cookies.
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website (pages viewed, time on page, device and browser, approximate location from IP address). Google Analytics is only loaded after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner; if you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the website footer. Our legal basis is your consent.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, object to processing, and withdraw consent. This includes the right to object to our use of your data for model development (see Section 6A). Email privacy@induqt.ai. We may need to verify your identity. If you are in the EEA or UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
12. California
We collect the categories of information described in Section 2 for the purposes in Section 4. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. De-identified datasets described in Section 6A are not personal information.
13. Children
The Services are for business use and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
14. Changes
We will post changes on this page and update the date above. For material changes we will give notice through the Services or by email.
