What it checks
- Encoder and encoder-communication alarms
- Overcurrent and overload
- Following (position) error
- Overvoltage and regeneration
- Vibration, hunting and resonance
How it works
- Identify the machine from the nameplate or a photo of the control.
- Read the fault or alarm and look it up in the documentation for that model.
- Weigh the evidence you add (trends, logs, history) against each possible cause.
- Give you the ranked causes and the next check that separates them, with sources.
Questions
Which servo systems does it cover?
Yaskawa, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley Kinetix, FANUC, Siemens and other common servo amplifiers. Alarm numbers differ by series, so include the model from the amplifier nameplate.
Can it help with tuning problems?
Yes. Describe what the axis does (overshoot, hum, ringing at stop) and, if you have it, a trace or the gain settings. Tuning changes must be made by someone who can safely stop the machine.
What does it cost?
The diagnostic is free.
InduQT gives guidance, not instructions to operate equipment. Work on fuel, pressure and electrical systems must be done by qualified personnel following the manufacturer's procedures and local codes. Never bypass a safety device or interlock.
