Yaskawa V1000 troubleshooting
The V1000 is Yaskawa’s compact vector drive, still widely installed. Yaskawa Europe phased out the V1000 (CIMR-VC models) from 1 March 2023 and changed it to discontinued on 1 March 2024, with no new orders from March 2024; it names the GA700 and GA500 as replacements for the A1000, V1000 and J1000. Availability in other regions was not confirmed. V1000 fault names largely match the GA500 for the common codes covered on the GA500 pages.

Try Free Drive Diagnostic Upload a photo of the alarm screen, the fault history or a data export. InduQT compares the evidence and suggests the next useful checks.
How it reports faults
- A fault lights the ALM LED steadily; a flashing ALM LED means a minor fault or alarm. Some conditions, such as overvoltage, can appear as either, so note which.
- U2-01 shows the current fault and U2-02 the previous fault; U2-03 to U2-17 show the drive state at the previous fault, including U2-05 output current and U2-08 DC bus voltage.
- U3-xx is the fault history (U3-01 most recent fault).
- Uv1 and Uv2 are not saved to the fault history, according to the manual.

Work on fuel trains, burners, pressure vessels and electrical equipment must be done by qualified personnel following the manufacturer’s documentation and local codes. Never bypass a safety device or interlock.
