Mitsubishi Electric servo drive troubleshooting
MELSERVO-J4 (MR-J4) is Mitsubishi Electric’s servo amplifier series for -A (pulse/analog), -B (SSCNET III/H), -GF (CC-Link IE Field) and multi-axis MR-J4W units. Alarms and warnings show as a two-digit number plus a one-digit detail number (for example AL.16.1). The detail number narrows the cause, so always record it.
Mitsubishi ElectricMELSERVO-J5 (MR-J5)MELSERVO-J5 (MR-J5) is the successor to MR-J4, with -G (CC-Link IE TSN), -B and -A variants and MR-J5W multi-axis and MR-J5D drive units. Alarm and warning numbers are three digits followed by a one-digit detail number (for example AL.016.1); MR-J4 used two digits, so MR-J4 AL.16 corresponds to MR-J5 AL.016.
Upload a photo of the alarm screen, the fault history or a data export. InduQT compares the evidence and suggests the next useful checks.
