The short answer
InduQT gives oil and gas service companies predictive maintenance on the machines they own and repair (compressors, pumps, generators, test benches, workshop utilities) using off-the-shelf sensors in safe areas, the data their machines already have (Modbus, OPC UA, Excel logs), and AI that names the likely cause from the machine’s manual. It is self-serve, priced per machine with unlimited users, and an on-premises version runs with no data leaving the site.
Who it is for
- Rotating-equipment repair and overhaul workshops
- Compressor, pump and generator rental fleets
- Fabrication yards and machine shops serving the sector
- Camps, bases and utility buildings
- Small operators’ maintenance teams for non-hazardous plant
What it solves
Rental and site equipment fails far from the workshop
A generator or compressor that will not start on a remote site costs a call-out and a penalty. Starter-battery voltage, run hours and load, sent every few seconds, show the warning signs weeks earlier.
Test benches and overhauls are documented by hand
Pressures, temperatures and vibration during a run-in test end up on a sheet. Logged automatically, every overhaul has a record you can show the customer and compare with the next one.
The big platforms are built for operators
Enterprise asset-performance suites assume a data team, an integrator and a long contract. Service companies need the outcome on 5 to 50 machines, set up in days.
Where to start

Already logging machine data in Excel? Turn it into early warnings with InduQT and Claude
Already collecting data?
- Excel and CSV logs, including test-bench records: upload the history and InduQT learns normal before any sensor is fitted.
- Controllers with Modbus (Deep Sea, ComAp and similar generator controllers, VFDs, energy meters): read through Node-RED.
- OPC UA servers on newer skids: InduQT reads them directly, or through the plant’s own server.
- In-house databases and spreadsheets: we connect them for you with an annual plan (free setup).
What to know first
- Hazardous areas: none of the off-the-shelf sensors in our guides are ATEX/IECEx certified. In classified zones use certified wireless instruments or the data your DCS already has, and bring it out through the gateway’s OPC UA or Modbus TCP output; see the hazardous-area guide.
- OT security: the bridge only makes outbound HTTPS connections, nothing on the plant network is opened to the internet, and keys can be limited to one site. Saudi sites should check the NCA Operational Technology Cybersecurity Controls with their IT/OT team.
- Data residency: InduQT cloud runs on Microsoft Azure. If data must stay in the country or on site, InduQT IQ Enterprise runs on your own servers with local AI models.
What it costs
| Machines | 10 rental compressors and 4 generators |
|---|---|
| Sensors | Shelly Pro 3EM on each (about US$130), a Shelly Plus Uni on each generator (about US$25), one gateway per yard |
| Hardware | about US$2,000 once |
| InduQT | Fleet Starter, US$49 a month for 3 machines plus US$12 per extra machine: about US$181 a month for 14 |
| Setup | Self-serve with the guides, or free setup with a 12-month plan |

Frequently asked questions
Is InduQT a replacement for an operator’s APM or historian?
No. It is for teams that do not have one, or for the machines the big systems do not cover. Where a historian exists, InduQT can read its exports or its OPC UA server.
Can InduQT run without internet on a remote site?
The bridge buffers readings while the link is down and sends them when it is back. Fully offline sites need InduQT IQ Enterprise on a local server.
Do you work in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman and Qatar?
Yes. The software is self-serve anywhere, and for annual plans we connect the first machines for you, remotely or with local partners.
