Live detection
Every two minutes InduQT checks machines with fresh data. When a signal is outside its normal range, the decision engine looks at the machine’s last two hours: which signals moved first and in which direction, and how far.
Rules decide first (for example a safety-critical signal out of range is Critical), the AI chooses among the rules’ candidate causes, and safety rules have the last word. A machine is looked at again at most every 30 minutes.
When the result is Act or Critical, an investigation opens with the title “Detected: …” and the tag Found by AI. Info results (for example “Not enough data”) are recorded on the machine page without opening a case.

Reading a decision
The investigation’s Decision engine card shows each layer: Rules (with severity), AI (whether it kept the rules’ cause), Safety check and Manual evidence. How the decision engine decided expands to the full trace.
The evidence chain lists the first movers in time order. A signal that moved earlier is a better root-cause candidate than the one that alarmed.

Teach it
When the cause is found, choose it under Teach the engine (or What was it? on the machine page) and save. The engine records which cause was right, and Machine Doctor recalls the confirmed fix the next time the same machine, or a similar one, shows the same pattern.
